Disney Discounts for Military Families: Memories That Last a Lifetime

I’m dating myself here, but back when my boys were just 2 and 4 (they are 28 and 26 now), our family took full advantage of Disney's Military Salute program. In those days, a 5-day Park Hopper pass was just $99, and Eric got in free. It was an incredible deal, and it sparked my lifelong love for Disney!

From exploring the parks with my little ones to staying at some of Disney’s iconic resorts, those early visits were truly magical. One of my favorite memories is staying at Shades of Green, a military resort  within the Walt Disney World. We were lucky enough to snag a room with a direct view of the fireworks—room 348, to be exact. If you’re planning to stay there, ask for that room. You’ll thank me later!

For those of you looking to create your own Disney memories, here’s a breakdown of the 2025 Disney Military Salute discounts and tips to make the most of your visit.

Disney Military Salute Ticket Discounts

Walt Disney World (Orlando, FL)

• 6-Day Ticket: $409 + tax
• 5-Day Ticket: $389 + tax
• 4-Day Ticket: $369 + tax
• Add the Park Hopper Plus Option for $30 more + tax.

📅 Tickets must be purchased by December 14, 2025, and used between January 1, 2025, and December 19, 2025, with some blockout dates.

Disneyland (Anaheim, CA)

• 3-Day Park Hopper: $295 ($391 with Lightning Lane Multi Pass)
• 4-Day Park Hopper: $349 ($477 with Lightning Lane Multi Pass)

📅 Tickets must be purchased by December 23, 2025, for use between January 1, 2025, and December 27, 2025.

📝 Tip: Tickets are available at your military installation’s ticket office or Shades of Green. Park reservations are required!

Disney Resort Discounts for Military Members

Disney’s Military Salute program also extends to select resort hotels. While certain room types and resorts are excluded, many options offer discounted rates, making your stay even more magical.

Don’t forget about Shades of Green! This Armed Forces Recreation Center offers military-friendly rates and unparalleled access to Disney magic.
