10 Military Discounts Spouses Should Check Before They Shop

September 24, 2026

After 24 years as an Army spouse and 13 PCS moves, I know how quickly everyday expenses add up. A discount may seem small on one purchase, but it is worth checking when you are shopping for clothes, planning a family outing, or replacing a device.

Here are 10 places to start. Offers, eligibility, and exclusions can change, so confirm the details before you buy.

1. Clothing and athletic wear. lululemon offers a 15% military discount. Spouses of active personnel in the same household can verify their eligibility separately.

2. The Home Depot. Eligible spouses can register for 10% off eligible purchases. The program has an annual discount limit.

3. Lowe’s. Enrolled and verified military spouses can receive 10% off eligible purchases. Spouses are encouraged to enroll independently.

4. Apple. Apple’s Veterans and Military Purchase Program offers 10% off eligible products to qualifying military members and immediate family members living in the same household.

5. Michaels. Michaels advertises a military discount through its Rewards program. Check its current eligibility requirements and exclusions before you shop.

6. Disney. Walt Disney World has offered specially priced military tickets and select resort room offers for 2026. Eligible spouses can use certain offers without the service member present, subject to the offer’s rules.

7. National parks. Current U.S. military members and their dependents are eligible for a free Military Annual Pass for entrance or standard day-use fees at participating federal recreation sites.

8. Cinemark. Dependents with a government-issued military ID are listed among those eligible for Cinemark’s military ticket discount. Check the price at your theater.

9. Outback Steakhouse. Its Heroes Discount includes qualifying military personnel and immediate family members with accepted identification. Check the offer’s terms and ask your local restaurant how it applies.

10. Local businesses. Discounts are not limited to national chains. When visiting a Colorado Springs shop, restaurant, or service provider, ask whether its military offer includes spouses. Local promotions vary.

The question I have learned to ask is simple: “Does your military discount include spouses?” Some businesses require online verification, while others ask to see an ID in person.

What military spouse discount would you add to this list?
